Hello, Hope you are safe and doing well, Job Title: PC / Printer Field Technician Location: Long Island, NY Duration: 12 Months Travel: Yes Mileage Reimbursement: Yes Own Vehicle: Required Pay rate: $19 w2 Experience:- Printer Tech- Hardware/software- A+ certified - Respond to technical service requests in the area to install and service Dell PCs, Lexmark printers and PC peripherals and/or electronic equipment- Takes service calls and performs incident specific activities such as replaceable unit swapping, image loading, and unit testing as directed by Help Desk, Service Desk or script- May perform routine installs, moves, adds and changes as part of a directed team, including:- Whole unit replacement- Printer repairs- Replacing rollers- Replacing fuser- Replacing maintenance kit- Load software with a script- Performs scripted image loading, unit diagnostics and replaceable unit swapping- Simple troubleshooting by running basic diagnostics and performs basic module replacement on PCs, servers and peripherals- Performs preventative maintenance activities on certain products as directed- Maintains a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanor and dress.- Insures customer satisfaction throughout Technical and Behavioural Skills- High school diploma or GED required- Background investigation and drug screen required- CompTIA A+ certification required- Specific additional vendor or manufacturers' certifications as required, i.e. EMC, Dell, Lexmark, Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA Network+- General knowledge of desktop hardware and software including basic knowledge of Microsoft applications- Ability to troubleshoot and repair software and hardware issues to include PCs, printers and PC peripherals and/or electronic equipment- Must have valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance- Basic mechanical skills and understanding of electro static discharge (ESD) procedures- Ability to resolve basic / non-complex problems as directed- Excellent communication skills required- Client and/or governmental clearance may be required- Must be available for after-hours on-call rotation Prescreen Questions required on top of the resume or will be rejected How many years of experience do you have with printer repairs?
