The Fashion Management Department invites candidates for Visiting Instructor-Fashion Management for the School of Media & Design. Position will teach undergraduate courses beginning spring 2024. Visiting faculty at UIW are expected to teach four courses each semester. In all matters, faculty are expected to maintain the highest standards of professional ethics consistent with the UIW Mission. Official duties and responsibilities of faculty members at the University include teaching, scholarship, service, and professional activities as assigned.
This position is considered a “Responsible Employee” under Title IX federal regulations and “Mandatory Reporter” under Texas state law and the UIW Sexual Misconduct Policy. As a Mandatory Reporter, this position requires you as the employee to promptly report any incident that you witness or receive information about Title IX violations. These reporting responsibilities are set out in the UIW Sexual Misconduct Policy.

MFA/MA/MS in Fashion or Master’s in closely related field with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Fashion from an accredited institution of higher education.
