Farm Worker Jobs

Job Summary

The successful candidate will maintain the physical and environmental conditions of animals. Observe animals’ condition, feed and water animals, and clean stalls. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. This is a part-time (50% FTE)position; hours for this position are 4 hours/day, Thursday – Monday. Weekends and holidays are required.

Required:

• US or Canadian driver’s license
• 1 year of experience working around large animals (horse, cattle, sheep, pigs, etc.)
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to drive truck, gooseneck horse trailer, and large tractor
• Ability to lift and carry 50 to 80 lbs. frequently, and up to 100+ lbs.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of basic hand tools
