Facilities Electrical Technician Jobs

Purpose :

Maintain facilities – Buildings, Aux. Equipment, and grounds

General Duties:

• Knowledge to read electrical blueprints
• Replacing bulbs and ballasts thru out the facility.
• Knowledge/understanding of NEC and codes
• Must have hand tools
• Installing (110V, 277V, and 480V) light fixtures.
• Installing receptacles.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems
• At least 5 years electrical experience
• Positive attitude and willing to learn
• Install breaker boxes and transformers
• Pull wire
• All other jobs, which pertain to the upkeep of the facilities.
• Replacing (110V, 220V, and 480V) motors.
• Run and bend conduit

Skills

• Must be able to operate forklifts, aerial lifts, cranes and maintenance type vehicles.
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Excellent problem solving and time management.
• Ability to work well in a multi-cultural environment.
• Ability to oversee contractors.
• Computer skills

Requirements :

• Able to work in extreme heat and cold.
• 2 years’ work experience in facility type maintenance.
• Willingness to learn and work to be the best of his/her abilities as well to help the Kobe Team to grow from your experience.
• Able to sit, bend, kneel, stand and walk.
• Able to lift heavy objects.
• Able to work in high places with aerial lifts and ladders.
