Job Summary:


Sharecare is seeking a top divisional leader to build its Life Sciences and Customer Acquisition and Activation Management Solutions business. This role is responsible for the management of the P&L, achieving yearly and quarterly sales goals, developing a division strategy for growth for the next five years, and creating a customer acquisition team to function across all company divisions.


This role oversees the experienced leadership teams that run client account management, consumer marketing, integrated marketing, technology, operations, research, performance & delivery, and sales. This individual will also collaborate with various cross-functional departments at Sharecare including, but not limited to, technology, product, finance, business intelligence, content, and senior leadership. S/he will play a key role in corporate initiatives, board meetings, M&A, and more. In addition, s/he will promote colleague engagement through the establishment of performance metrics and positive leadership, mentorship, and guidance of all team members.


Essential Job Functions:


Responsible for driving Life Sciences revenue, identifying, and creating new business opportunities, cultivating long-term strategic partnerships, increasing marketplace visibility, and achieving long-term growth. This role oversees the leadership team for Life Sciences and Customer Acquisition and Activation Management Solutions and is ultimately responsible to ensure they:


  • Continue to grow footprint in the pharma/media landscape by participating in conferences, thought leadership, and publishing white papers and articles
  • Ensure all products and offerings are innovative, meet client needs, are measurable and will support the business’ growth
  • Execute the plan to increase sales, develop new relationships, and hit sales goals
  • Accurate financial forecasting and reporting
  • Work closely with corporate leadership to support the overall growth of Sharecare
  • Establish the emerging Consumer acquisition and activation management function across Sharecare to extend and apply the division’s expertise beyond Life Sciences to Enterprise and Provider services and customers
  • Execute the annual go-to-market strategy including new product development and positioning in the market
  • Oversee pricing and contracting to meet margin and EBIDTA goals
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and expert to key clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Develop a data, analytics, and technology system to take us into the future, along with an investment and development plan for audience expansion
  • Expand available inventory through SEO, partnerships, and/or M&A


Budgetary Oversight


  • Presentations to the board, analysts, investors, and potential partners/acquisitions
  • Responsible for quarterly and yearly sales goals, EBIDTA, and corporate contributions
  • Develop strategies to contain budget spending, labor efficiency, and materials and proposed new solution development to align with an operating budget.
  • Working with the division VP, of Finance, establish an annual fiscal budget for the division and maintain deep relationships with corporate finance partners to ensure ongoing P&L evaluation of the operating unit to maintain annual targets.


Qualifications:


  • MBA strongly preferred; bachelor's degree required
  • Ability to manage division and corporate responsibilities simultaneously
  • Strong Partnership / M&A experience required
  • Extensive knowledge of the pharma landscape as it relates to DTC advertising, including having key contacts
  • Relevant digital media experience required; HCP experience preferred
  • Strong presentation skills, both written, and verbal, on stage and in key meetings
  • An industry expert, with 15+ years of leadership of a profitable, growing organization; public company experience preferred
  • Proven track record of building a performance marketing business
