Job Description

McKinley Marketing Partners packaging client is searching for an events communication manager to work directly with creative teams and manage creative deliverables for marketing campaigns. The events communication manager should be highly skilled in executing events communications and marketing campaigns, as well as excellent social and communication skills, including presenting to groups in person and via phone.


This is a 3–6-month contract position. This position can be fully remote, but candidates must be local to the headquarters in Atlanta, GA. All McKinley roles include a competitive benefits package.


Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally to support and drive marketing tactics from end-to-end utilizing clear and open communication.
  • Own the development of communications plans including timelines, schedules, and analytics.
  • Build strong and collaborative relationships with partners.
  • Own the implementation and ongoing upkeep of project plans in our project management tool (Monday.com)
  • Provide post-event analysis
  • Communicate project status, as well as potential issues and/or risks to Event Managers and creative partners.
  • Drive management of marketing and communication leading up to, during, and after events to support customer acquisition, customer retention, revenue and branding objectives.
  • Learn and understand how to utilize data and analytics driven information to inform internal teams of said insight for creative implementation.
  • Champion a standard approach to campaign management to drive consistency across event communications.
  • Identify opportunities for and proactively partner to improve processes from project to project.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of event communications and the competitive landscape.


Requirements

  • Minimum Years of Experience: 3-5 years of experience working on the execution of events communications and marketing campaigns
  • Proven time management and prioritization skills and experience working well under tight deadlines.
  • Experience building event marketing plans, timelines with multiple dependencies and managing creative deliverables.
  • Understanding of digital and traditional marketing channels.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely express ideas both verbally and in writing.
