Essential Duties And Responsibilities


  • Works in partnership and serves as the contact for all outside tour groups (ex: grade school - senior centers).
  • Strategizes the best way to implement the Event Team's selection criteria as it relates to the use of all the spaces in the Buell Center.
  • Responsible for supporting the planning, organizing, and implementation of statewide events (Southern Colorado, Northern Colorado, and the Western Slope)
  • Communicates engagement team needs to other departments and vice versa
  • Communicates with all engagement team members on timelines and engagement purposes to ensure coordination of RMPM engagement efforts/goals on a timely basis to maximize planning and implementation efforts.
  • Serves as the day of contact for any building rentals and uses for Buell spaces including set up of rooms and meeting guest needs.
  • Cooperates with the Experience Strategy Team in the booking of community spaces within the Buell Center.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of RMPBS events.
  • Responsible for scheduling with all outside (the Buell Center) organizations and partners when using the building.
  • Other tasks as assigned and/or required.
  • Serves as the implementer of planning, organizing, and coordinating Denver RMPM events and engagement.
  • Actively participates in RMPM's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) training program. Uses key standards and teachings of DEI training in day-to-day work.
  • Assists Producers in the planning and implementation of KUVO Jazz and The DROP events.
  • Facilitates requests for engagement and event assets and other cross departmental collaborations.
  • Responsible for scheduling with all internal partners to schedule the Buell Center spaces (board, community rooms, as well as Masterpiece Theatre and Bonfils Studio, Mordecai Lobby, Rooftop Patio, Courtyard, etc.)
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of RMPBS KIDS events.
  • Serves as the single point of contact for some Buell Center engagements and events for RMPM.
  • Supports the Senior Producer in the coordination and management of events.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Good work ethic and the ability to see a job to its completion.
  • Friendly and interpersonal skills and the ability to relate effectively to others from all backgrounds and lived experiences.
  • Thrives in a remote working environment and has the skillset and ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • 1 to 2 years experience in coordinator or similar position.


ADDITIONAL Qualifications Of Position


  • Fluent in Spanish a plus.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license; must be insurable for driving station vehicles.
  • Some evening and weekend hours are required.
