Job Description
1Connect Consulting , a professional event and fundraising firm based in Atlanta, has recently made plans to expand its event team. 1Connect Consulting's mission is to help its charity partners make a massive impact on the local community by bringing more awareness to their core mission and increasing their donations through customized events. To keep up with demand, 1Connect Consulting has an opening for an outgoing, career-motivated individual to fill their Events Assistant position IMMEDIATELY.


Events Assistant Responsibilities:


  • Organize and assist with all fundraising activities
  • Educate community members on their charity partners’ core mission
  • Assist with training new associates on policies and procedures
  • Work collaboratively and efficiently with fellow team members to increase awareness
  • Attend daily in-office meetings to discuss and plan upcoming fundraising events
  • Maintain all donation records throughout the course of each event


Events Assistant Requirements:


  • Ability to public speak and present our mission with confidence and professionalism
  • 1-2 years of experience in philanthropy, community outreach, events or promotions
  • Passion for giving back to the community and volunteering
  • Demonstrate the ability to use persuasive communication, leadership, and relationship-building
  • Strong desire to work with nonprofit organizations
  • Sales experience preferred


Pay: $38,000-$48,000/year
