Job Title: ETL Developer

Location: Hoston, Texas

Type: W2 only

:

·Design and develop ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it to meet business requirements, and load it into target systems.

·Collaborate with business stakeholders and data analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

·Build and maintain data integration workflows using ETL tools such as Informatica, Data Stage, Talent, or similar.

·Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading operations.

·Perform data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and implement appropriate solutions.

·Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and data integration errors.

·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout the entire data lifecycle.

·Document ETL processes, data mappings, and data lineage for future reference and audit purposes.

·Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in ETL development, data integration, and data warehousing.

Qualifications:

·Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

·Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in ETL development, data integration, and data warehousing.

·Strong proficiency in ETL tools such as Informatica, Data Stage, talent, or similar.

·Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing them for performance.

·Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data integration patterns.

·Experience with database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.

·Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Shell scripting is a plus.

·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

·Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
