Kemper is seeking a candidate with strong Data Analyst and ETL Development skills for the Enterprise Data Services team to assist in data analysis and ETL development. Work with technology and business partners to design, develop, and implement ETL solutions using SQL, IICS and Snowflake. Work with the technical project team to ensure technical requirements are documented, communicated, and implemented.

Responsibilities

• ETL design and development
• Communicate and discuss requirements and data with various project stakeholders
• Document data mapping
• Research data related inquiries
• Data analysis and requirements documentation

Qualifications

• Good organizational and problem-solving skills

• Effective, clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
• Business Intelligence/Cloud/AWS knowledge or experience preferred
• Experience with data mapping, modelling, lineage, governance and management a plus
• This position will be located in Jacksonville, FL, Chicago, IL, Alpharetta, GA or Birmingham, AL (Hybrid schedule – one day in the office per week)
• IT Business/Technical Systems Analyst experience
• 3 or more years data analysis or ETL Developer experience
• Working knowledge of SQL (TSQL/PL SQL), ETL patterns and tools and Data Warehouses/ Data Lakes
• Experience with ETL tools - IICS (IDMC) is required
• Education equivalent to a college degree in information technology or technical related discipline, or the equivalent in related work experience
• Experience with databases - Snowflake is required
