Estimation Coordinator at Tomm Electric

We are currently seeking an experienced In-House Estimation Coordinator to join our fast-growing team at Tomm Electric. We operate multiple brands including EV Charger Installers, A Tomm Electric Company; Dynamic Entry Solutions; and P&M Retail Services.

The Role:

As our In-House Estimation Coordinator, you will play a key role in the process of estimating commercial Electric Vehicle Charging Design Build Installations (mainly Level 2 & 3), security integration design build installations, general electrical scopes, and light retail general construction in both private and public bidding forms.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform takeoffs using lead estimator's design print or bid-prints.
• Enter data into Conest Software for raw hours & material costs.
• Confirm design feasibilities & lengths in field site visits.
• Maintain deadlines and coordinate between outsourced estimation coordinator to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Electrical field experience a plus.
• Experience with takeoff software and estimation software (Conest software a plus).
• Proficient in general computer skills, including intermediate level Excel.
• General office & communication skills, including email, phone & social skills for meeting customers.
• 1+ year experience in commercial electrical estimation in a back-office setting.
• Willingness to go on site-surveys & drive a company car 5-100 miles for some surveys.

Compensation Details

This is a full-time, salaried position. The compensation package will be commensurate with experience. We also offer comprehensive benefits, which include health insurance, paid time off, IRA, etc. Specific details will be discussed during the interview process.
