Equity Research Analyst Jobs

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Investment Analysts, Portfolio Managers, and internal technology experts to devise and execute innovative tools that enhance the investment process, portfolio construction, and risk management for sector investment teams.

• Acquire and utilize fundamental equity data to streamline modeling and investment research efforts.

• Analyze, evaluate, and correlate research data to develop comprehensive business analyses for integration into strategic decision-making.

• Generate informative, actionable, and replicable reports that highlight pertinent business trends and identify opportunities for enhancement.

• Construct tailored analyses and data visualizations incorporating both internal and external data sources.

• Formulate a strategic vision for future technology initiatives.

• Work closely with Technology, Quant Coverage, and other internal departments to deliver support to our investment professionals.

• Assist in the onboarding of new hires by coordinating coverage planning, designing infrastructure, and providing tool training.

• Perform due diligence on buy-side technology solutions and establish relationships with specialized vendors.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance, statistics, engineering, and/or computer science.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong project management abilities.

• Python (pandas) experience as well as strong excel skills

• Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and excel in a fast-paced team environment.

• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with a keen eye for detail.

• Enthusiasm for fundamental analysis and investing in public markets.

• Deep comprehension of financial accounting, equity valuation, and statistics.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel/Data Visualization, including built-in functions, aggregation, lookups, creating dashboards, and working with Tableau.
