Epic Analyst, Professional Billing - ProHealth Care - Full-Time, Remote

Schedule Details: Monday - Friday, normal business hours with additional hours as needed for on call responsibilities, system upgrades and after hours support. Position will be 100% remote.

The PHC Information Technology Division supports our community - focused healthcare system’s primary care facilities, hospitals, home health care, hospice services, long term care and senior residence communities, health and fitness center. We have attained national recognition for our pioneering approach to business intelligence and population health management. We were the first system to use Epic’s Cogito data warehouse in a production environment which afforded our ACO a method for managing their population’s health. What You Will Do:

At ProHealth Care, the Epic Applications Team provides ample opportunity for individual growth on an expanding team that is continuously looking to leverage new Epic modules in the organization and facilitate additional Community Connect implementations. The team fosters cross application collaboration and highlights the role of integration within Epic, which presents endless opportunities to expand your Epic knowledge base. The team offers flexibility in working hours (providing work/life balance) in a work hard, play hard environment.


Responsible for the analysis, build, testing, implementation and support activities for the currently needed Epic application. Ensures the system furthers the enterprise’s goal of excellent patient care as well as supporting the ProHealth quality initiatives in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. Analysts work with others on the team to maintain an integrated medical record that supports the vision of “One Record. One Patient.” Ensures adherence to the standard system while working with subject matter experts, champions, and super users to resolve issues and work toward a common goal. Working closely in a matrix environment with operational partners, informatics, principal trainers and others is crucial for success.



What you will need:

  • Strongly prefer experience supporting specific application needed and/or application workflows.
  • Associate's degree in a related field required. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Will consider commensurate education and experience in lieu of degree.
  • At least 2 years related technical and Epic experience required.
  • Must be flexible to provide on-call support per team rotation.
  • Epic certification strongly preferred.
  • Experience in the MyChart application preferred.
