Senior Environmental Project Manager – Offshore Wind
Primary Location: USA-California

Our client is the independent consulting business line of one of the world’s largest integrated Energy EPC companies.
You will be working within the Environmental Science (E&S) team. They provide a full range of environmental services with a strong reputation for technical excellence, innovation and quality of work within small project consulting and strategic advisory assignments through to large project engineering and construction management delivery.
This role presents an excellent opportunity to help serve work with their clients in the US West region. You will have responsibilities for technical excellence and client relationships, with a particular focus on our energy client service line. You would also support business development activities, working with senior leaders of the E&S team, by identifying clients and opportunities, and building client networks.
Primary Objectives and Accountabilities of the Role:
- Interact with the wider team to provide comprehensive environmental, engineering and operational support to energy clients including onshore renewables and transmission as well.
- Participate in industry forums and groups to enhance the company name’s recognition and role in the sector.
- Manage complex projects’ scope, budget, and schedule.
- Be a point person for all company E&S projects and opportunities in the Northwest.
- Identify new opportunities and support proposal preparation and client development.
- Manage complex offshore wind project with teams consisting of specialists and strategic partners.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors in engineering, environmental science, environmental planning, or equivalent; Advanced degree(s) preferred in a relevant subject area.
- 15+ years of professional experience in environmental planning and permitting.
- Experience managing major projects including offshore wind feasibility studies. BOEM Site Assessment and Construction and Operation Plans, marine ecology, NEPA/Federal and state permitting, offshore wind, power generation and transmission, infrastructure, and/or renewable energy is desired.
- Demonstrated commitment to HSE leadership.
