The City of Caldwell has an opening for an Environmental Superintendent or an Environmental Engineer in the Engineering Department. Individual implements the City’s storm water management program and other environmental programs including development and administration of related policies, ordinances and regulations; performs related work as required. Subject to a pre-employment drug test and background check.
Acceptable Experience, Training and requirements for Environmental Superintendent:
- Possession of a current and valid driver’s license.
- Five (5) years relevant experience in water resources.
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, water quality, natural resources or other technical field acceptable for the state certified engineer-in-training program;and
- Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work.
- Some experience in public works project engineering design and construction.
