Entry-Level Payload Design Engineer

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking an Entry-Level Payloads Engineer to join our teams in Everett, WA or Renton,WA The payloads organization is responsible for everything you see when you fly; and a lot that you don’t: The Interior of the airplane, along with the Cargo compartments, exterior markings, associated systems, and cabin safety all make up Payloads. Position Responsibilities:

• Working with regulators
• Experience supporting the validation of compliance to regulatory requirements
• Engineering support within a production system
• Direct engagement working with/for aerospace suppliers or airlines
• Aircraft cargo compartment and handling system design, integration, and/or certification
• Design for manufacturing

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills
• Experience in using a variety of media to clearly convey information and ideas to an executive level audience in a manner that engages both individuals and groups
• Degree in mechanical, civil, or aerospace engineering

Typical Education & Experience:

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
