We're looking to grow our event marketing and PR team this summer so we can increase brand representation for our clients across the NY Metro area.

Our Marketing and PR Assistant will be working in the office and out and about at local event sites. You'll be coming up with creative ways to attract the attention of local shoppers so our client's brand stands out in a sea of competing brands. Working as a team, you'll help the brand enhance its reputation, become more recognizable, and increase its market share.

Marketing and PR Assistants will be:

• Promoting a brand's products and services along with the features and benefits
• Coordinating marketing materials and small teams plus planning group travel
• Strategizing creative ways to get our client's message out to more people
• Conducting market research to get a feel for the brand in a geographic area
• Responsible for honest, reliable, and ethical marketing and sales presentations
• Working as part of our outbound events team to spread brand awareness
• Answering customer questions & completing sales transactions when appropriate

Marketing/Communications/Business degrees and some customer-focused work experience are preferred, but no specific degree nor work experience is required since we provide extensive in-house and on-site training, mentoring, coaching, support, and other situational guidance as needed.

Basic Requirements for the Marketing and PR Assistant Positions:

• You should enjoy working with customers and want to learn new skills
• An outgoing personality, sense of humor, and ability to relate to others can help
• A competitive nature and desire to succeed are also helpful
• You should be available for full-time hours and able to start within 2 weeks
• You’ll need to be 18+ years of age and eligible to work in the United States
