CACI is hiring an Entry Level Engineer/Drone Technician to be based onsite in Bethesda, MD. Candidates with active/current Secret-level clearance encouraged to apply!

Hands On UAV/Drone Experience required!

What You’ll Get to Do:

• Provide engineering and physical insight into mechanical and unmanned aerospace systems.
• Assist in design, engineering, and testing of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles/Systems.
• Develop hypothesis and goals for independent investigations.
• Communicate results through reports and presentations to a non-technical audience.

More About the Role:

• You will work with multiple prototyping tools including 3D Printers, CNC machines, foam cutters, etc.
• This role will work in a lab directly building, altering, and designing drones for multiple unmanned tests.
• As a requirement of continued employment, you will be required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• Experience programming in MATLAB or Python, or related languages.
• Hands on experience with drones, quadcopters, fixed wing RC planes, etc.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering field or equivalent work experience.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• Master’s degree in mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering field.
• Currently hold an active Secret Security Clearance.
