Boeing Global Services is seeking an Entry Level Supply Chain Specialist to join their team in Hazelwood, MO. The Supply Chain Specialist will be an integral member of the Boeing Global Services Government Execution team. Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance. Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions. Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues. Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities. Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.


Position Responsibilities:


  • Participates in continuous improvement projects
  • Mitigates risks and issues
  • Supports customer and program reviews
  • Coordinates with support functions and manages Supply Chain Priorities
  • Receives customer orders/requests and performs tactical actions
  • Enters, tracks, monitors and coordinates customer material and delivery requirements
  • Responsible to meet performance goal targets and provide recovery plans
  • Identifies and resolves customer supply chain management issues and discrepancies.
  • Identifies Supply Chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues.
  • Lead in execution of BGS Govt contracts


This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite in Hazelwood, MO. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.


This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.
  • 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time
  • Experience in Supply Chain (Demand Planning)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience in a role requiring strategic planning (project/program management)
  • Experience in supporting Government programs
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience).
Relocation:

Summary pay range: $53,550 - $72,450
