Entry Level Structural Engineer

We are looking for an entry level structural engineer to join the BTL Engineering team.This position offers an excellent opportunity to be involved in diverse project types, primarily single family and multi-family residential, using a variety of building materials. This position requires sound technical skills and the ability to learn quickly. The right candidate will work side-by-side with the project team throughout all phases of design and construction, with opportunities to learn and advance. Responsibilities include assisting with construction documents, technical calculations and construction administration. Candidate must be proactive, exhibit excellent communication skills, and work well in a team environment. Candidates should be prepared to work on multiple projects through all phases of documentation.

Qualifications:

•BSCE or MSCE degree with emphasis in structural engineering

•Coursework in timber design

·Internship in a consulting firm (preferred)

•EIT Certificate

•Coursework in timber/wood design

•Strong communication skills

Compensation:

$60k - $70k base annual salary
