Job Description
Overview:

ABOUT THE POSITION

VHB is seeking an emerging professional Environmental Scientist for our growing Site Investigation and Remediation practice. The position is based in our growing Manasquan, NJ office and will primarily serve markets in New Jersey and southern New York.


Responsibilities

  • Interpret and communicate investigation findings
  • Leveraging technology to support data management and visualization
  • Provide hands-on support during field exploration and testing
  • Conduct site assessments
  • Field data collection (soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, soil gas sampling)
  • Write technical reports, correspondence, notes and memoranda
Skills and Attributes
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Motivated and able to problem-solve and work independently
  • Ability to work in field and office settings
Qualifications
  • BS or MS Environmental Science, or related field
  • 0-1 years of professional environmental/remediation consulting experience
