Riley Power group, LLC is a full-service maintenance and capital construction services company headquartered in Pinehurst, NC. We work nationwide on some of the most challenging, exciting construction and maintenance projects in the industrial sector. We are currently hiring skilled Engineers, for all levels, for multiple positions in the US. Essential Functions of this position may include but are not limited to:


This is a front-line engineering position in a Waterfront Manufacturing Engineering Directorate requiring the selected candidates to frequently interface with trades personnel in an active construction environment troubleshooting complex fabrication, assembly, major move activities, while providing engineering and design construction support for submarines.



This position requires that the Engineer work in a design, build and sustain environment to develop build strategies and conceptualize methods and fixtures required for fabricating and assembling submarine components, structures, ship’s systems and associated modules.


Primary responsibilities for a manufacturing engineer will be identification and development of methods and tools required by the shipbuilder. Duties include but are not limited to:


  • Daily interaction with related engineers/designers, shipyard trades, manufacturing vendors, and planning representatives between client site(s) is expected.
  • Development of designs for tools and fixtures.
  • Preparation of Manufacturing Engineering Documents for sequence and alignment critical installations, and direct shipyard support.
  • Travel between client site(s) may be required.

Qualification, education, and experience requirements



  • Broad understanding of structural/mechanical design, materials, weld design and bolted joint.
  • Construction support experience, preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Marine, or Physics engineering (or will have by June 2022)
  • Master’s degree in civil, Structural, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Marine engineering, preferred.
  • Client offers Flexible Work Arrangements that allows some work to be performed remotely and at home. This varies from position to position based on the amount of classified material the department interacts with, as well as a few other variables.
  • A background in structural analysis and/or finite element analysis methods, preferred.
  • Requires skills in written and verbal communication, problem solving and project management.


Successful candidate must possess the willingness and ability to complete and pass all pre-employment and employment screening requirements which may include but are not limited to medical, psychological (per site request), background and substance abuse screening(s).
