Job Summary
A care giver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a patient or group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care for these patients thorough therapeutic use of self, the patient care/problem solving or nursing process; through the environment/instrumentation; and through other health care team members.
Job Requirements
Education Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience Required: 6 months Endoscopy Technician experience OR 1 year of medical care experience
Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical/problem solving skills Able to work in an organized manner
Licensure/Certification/Registration Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days
Endoscopy Tech II
Job Summary
A member of the healthcare team who functions under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and performs a variety of technical and supportive functions to assist with the care of the patient throughout their perioperative phase of hospitalization utilizing hospital/departmental standards, policies, protocols and procedures.
Job Requirements
Education
Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience
Required: At least 2 years’ Nurse Assistant or related experience
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical/problem solving skills
Able to work in an organized manner
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Required: Must obtain BLS within 90 days of hire
