Job Description
JOB SUMMARY Oversees the protection of company assets on the North Slope through collaboration with Anchorage EHS leadership and North Slope operations management. Responsible for the oversite, coordination, and management of Santos North Slope Emergency Response Teams. During an incident holds responsibility for assessing the situation, determining the best course of action, and executing the plan.

SCHEDULE Rotational Schedule - 2 weeks on/2 weeks off


DURATION 12 months+


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


  • Manages onsite hazard analysis and mitigation.
  • Creates an Always Safe and One Team culture.
  • Ensures preventative maintenance is performed per manufacturer specifications on all emergency response equipment.
  • ICS-trained (ICS-201 Initial Response, ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-300, ICS-700, ICS-800).
  • Security, spill and medical teams have dotted-line reporting into this position.
  • Oversees logistics for emergency response personnel and equipment.
  • Coordinates with field management in the development of fit-for-purpose site-specific Emergency Response Plans.
  • Coordinates emergency response training including tabletops and infield simulations to meet Santos conformance and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Provides ICS SME support to On-scene Commander during activation of Emergency Response Team.
  • Subject Matter Expert in Incident Command System principles.
  • Liaises with fieldwide operators for coordination of daily SIMOPS (traffic, security, etc.) and emergency response activities.
