The Opportunity


This opportunity as an Electronic Security Technician is perfect for an experienced low voltage technician in Huntsville, Alabama who enjoys working on security systems!


The Responsibilities


  • Handles service orders and project administration
  • Serves as the face of EFS to our customers onsite by providing top-notch service and product training
  • Installs, repairs, tests, and maintains security projects
  • Performs follow-up to ensure the client is ready for inspection
  • Ensures safety through compliance with relevant State and Federal regulations


The Necessities


  • Valid electrician certificate or trainee card
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to travel
  • IT or basic electrical wiring experience
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of minimum liability insurance
  • Good communication skills to interface with customers
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Valid CPR/First Aid card
  • Ability to pass background checks, drug tests, and MVR screenings
  • Ability to work well with others and come to work with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to call and schedule appointments, follow instructions, and understand code requirements

  • Milestone CCTV
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • AMAG
  • Lenel
  • DAQ Access Control/IDS
  • Relevant factory certifications and knowledge are always a plus. Great examples include:
  • Prior experience working on government contracts or military bases
  • Monitor Dynamics Access Control/IDS

Pay range is $25 - $35 per hour for well-qualified candidates.
