Job Title - Electronic Assembler
Location: Denver, CO
Compensation: $20/hr.
The Electronic Assembler is responsible for building wire harnesses for vehicle hardware integrations. The Electronic Assembler will work at multiple different stations handling wire harness parts and producing assemblies to engineering drawings. The Electronic Assembler will work with the Production Manager and the Engineers to continuously improve efficiency and optimize production. The electronic assembler will be required to assemble a certain amount of units to meet production goals.
No experience required, we do all the hands-on training along with more in depth training on site. Must be dependable.
Primary Responsibilities
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Occasionally lift and move boxes of raw materials up to 50lbs.
- Strip, cut, crimp, weld, and assemble wires to build harnesses to engineering specifications.
- Support other areas of assembly and manufacturing as needed
- Inspect crimp joints to ensure crimp meets specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe production area.
- Document and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to build new harness types.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Read work orders to determine work instructions and jobs to be completed.
- Work with the Production Manager and engineering to constantly improve quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
At a minimum we’d like you to have:
- Patience and willingness to learn a new skill
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent
- (Preferred) Experience with automotive electrical systems or wire harness building
- (Preferred) Manufacturing/production experience
