Electrician Summer Apprentice Jobs

Position Summary

Parker Lord in Cary, NC is seeking a highly motivated Electrician Apprentice to join our team for the summer! The Electrician Apprentice will be responsible for providing support to our maintenance team in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across our campus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
• Assist with the preparation and implementation of electrical work plans
• Help troubleshoot electrical problems and identify solutions
• Perform basic electrical tasks, such as wiring and rewiring, circuit breaker replacements, and electrical panel upgrades
• Follow National Electric Code (NEC) and local building regulations
• Adhere to safety practices and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina and strength to perform job duties, including lifting and carrying
• High School Diploma
• Ability to use basic electrical tools and equipment
• Basic knowledge of electrical theory and principles
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations
• Enrolled in an accredited electrical training program
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
