We are currently hiring a Construction Electrical Foreman to join our team!


Our Electrical Foreman works cooperatively with the General Contractor, Superintendent, General Foreman, Project Manager and/or customer in managing the project, project schedule and employees. This position is responsible for maintaining productivity, safety, quality control, labor cost, scheduling, movement of manpower, procurement of materials and any other activities impacting the successful completion of the project.


Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Schedule

This position will be responsible for monitoring installations and ensuring work is performed per company standards and the project specifications. It will facilitate the proper and efficient use of crews, materials, and equipment in collaboration with the General Contractor. Emphasis will be on productivity, safety, quality control, labor costs and hours, scheduling, material procurement, and any other activity that would impact the successful completion of the project.


  • Utilize a proactive approach to anticipate and resolve potential issues.
  • Be considerate of others. Think about how your actions impact the customer and the rest of the team.
  • Effectively communicate the reasons behind your recommendations, and be equipped to address questions and overcome objections.
  • Ensure crew members start and finish work shift on time; Maintain proper meal/break times as per Employee Handbook and as legally required per local labor laws and regulations.
  • Achieve Reynolds Electric productivity objectives by effectively managing and assigning tasks to crew members, while maintaining an accurate labor tracking log.
  • Ensure all work performed meets with NEC, federal, state, county, local codes and
  • Contract documents.
  • Fully utilize a prefabrication and company-wide installation methods and policies.
  • Ensure the proper safety equipment, materials and tools are onsite to perform required work.
  • Communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals including project owners, architects, general contractors, management, crew members, etc.
  • Manage purchase orders and ensure ordered materials are received while adhering to bulk buy material procedures.
  • Provide General Foreman & Superintendent with sufficient notice of any crew changes.
  • Maintain complete and accurate “as-builts” as per Reynolds Electric procedures and project requirements.
  • Adhere to all Reynolds Electric, state and federal safety policies and procedures.
  • Establish project goals and monitor success in reaching those objectives on an ongoing basis.
  • Give your tasks 100% of your attention; our clients expect high quality work, and we need to do our best to deliver.
  • Conduct effective performance evaluations of crew members.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures included in the Reynolds Electric Be personable and approachable with the skills for diffusing high tension situations when they arise.


Requirements:


  • DMV: Clean and safe driving record.
  • Familiarity with tools and equipment of the trade.
  • Knowledgeable in the identification and repair of faults in electrical apparatus and circuits.
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of field experience as a Journeyman Electrician
  • Attention to detail: must pay strong attention to detail to keep information accurate and organized.
  • Oregon License with solid knowledge of state and local codes, and ability to make on-the-job applications.
  • Experience in verifying the compliance and functionality of installations
  • OSHA 10 and 30 training preferred.
  • Technology literacy: basic knowledge of how to operate cell phones and tablets. Experience with Bluebeam Revu preferred.
  • Well-versed in the installation of power systems: lighting, fire protection, security and data networks
