Electrical Estimator Jobs

Responsibilities:

- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other contract documents to determine the scope of work and prepare accurate cost estimates

- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes

- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and identify potential challenges or opportunities

- Prepare detailed take-offs and quantity surveys for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services

- Utilize estimating software and tools to accurately calculate costs and generate comprehensive bid proposals

- Evaluate subcontractor quotes and negotiate pricing to ensure competitive bids

- Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client presentations as required

- Maintain organized documentation of all estimates, bids, and related correspondence

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry

- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques

- Proficiency in reading blueprints, plans, and specifications

- Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to perform detailed calculations

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in estimating costs

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and subcontractors

- Proficiency in using estimating software and tools
