Electrical Engineering at Kimberly-Clark requires application, design, development, project management and troubleshooting skills to design, build, test and support equipment for manufacturing of consumer and business to business health and hygiene products. Engineers work as part of a team. Project size and financial responsibility increases with experience, including potential leadership of engineering teams and large capital or developmental projects. Also, positions in operations, maintenance and other functional areas are available for potential growth opportunities. As a world-class manufacturer of market leading consumer and business to business products, Kimberly-Clark operates under the philosophy of continuous product improvement requiring the development and design of new manufacturing lines and updates/additions to existing production machinery. To meet these requirements, fundamental engineering skills are applied, including:
- Power Distribution/Protective Devices
- Linear Feedback Control Systems
- Adjustable Speed Motor Control
- Closed Loop Positioning Systems
- Engineering Economics
- Combinational/Sequential logic
- Computer Analysis/Simulation
- Three Phase Equipment
Qualifications
- Relevant industrial co-op/intern or other experience is highly desirable.
- December 2022 through May 2023 graduates and/or availability
- A Bachelor’s (or MS) of Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology degree is required.
- Effective Communication Skills with the ability to discuss technical issues in a business environment
- The ability to adapt to rapidly changing business priorities and assignments.
- Application/Results orientation with primary focus on problem definition and generation of alternative solutions
- A 3.0/4.0 or higher Grade Point Average is required
- Customer Focus when dealing with internal and external customers
- Applicants must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. on a regular, full-time basis. Kimberly-Clark does not typically offer employment to holders of F-1, J-1, or H-1 visas for the purpose of obtaining practical experience.
