Job Description
The Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Program Assoc. Manager is responsible for leading the design, planning, execution and maintenance of projects and programs that support the goals and strategies for Yum Corp and the EIB Center of Excellence.
Reporting to the Yum Corp Director, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging, a successful candidate will be highly self-motivated and resourceful, and is comfortable navigating in ambiguity. The candidate will have demonstrated success in program management, leading and influencing employee teams without direct authority and is a strong communicator and presenter to audiences at all levels. Strong experience working effectively across different levels and functions and building alignment in a cross-functional team environment is key.
Salary Range: $­­91,500 to $118,470 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate on and support EIB partnerships and programs with key stakeholders (i.e. Human Resource Business Partners, Talent Acquisition) and contributes to the execution of key initiatives across multiple areas of accountability.
  • Serve as EIB business partner with cross-functional and cross-enterprise work groups on projects and initiatives impacting diversity representation and inclusion culture to help drive progress towards key EIB and culture goals.
  • Program manager of YUM business employee resource groups (BERGs); serves as advisor to drive objectives, project planning and budget allocation. Executes strategies associated with BERGs that support retention, engagement, and promotion of diverse talent. Facilitate the BERG chapter lifecycle from inquiry through orientation and chapter launch. Provide guidance to chapter chairpersons and serves as an intermediary between the chapters and cross-functional teams.
  • Teams with Director on the talent planning component of EIB programs. Assists with identifying candidate placement opportunities that will influence EIB imperatives. Provide administrative support to programs including data analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Communications team as an inclusion subject matter expert on internal and external messaging and social media. Conduct research, develop, and maintain internal and external diversity & inclusion benchmarking.
Required Qualifications
  • Ability to work collaboratively and proactively, while balancing a variety of priorities
  • 5+ years of relevant diversity and inclusion, human resources, organizational development, or program management experience
  • Proven ability to manage high-visibility, enterprise-wide projects and initiatives and build and manage relationships
  • Skilled in data reporting and analytical skills as well as demonstrated ability to handle complex projects
Preferred Qualifications
  • BA/BS Degree in human resources/organizational development/business management or related degree preferred. In lieu of a degree, education and experience will be considered
  • Executive presence, leadership skills
  • Experience building programs addressing the unique needs and experiences of members of underrepresented groups
  • High self-motivation to succeed, continually improve and learn and grow
  • High ability to excel in a dynamic workplace
  • Excellent written communications skills and a sharp eye for visual branding and storytelling
