Seeing “The Big Picture” keeps you on track to meet bigger goals

When presented with a task, you see beyond its parameters to how it fits into a larger strategy, and that vision guides your managerial decisions and empowers you and those you manage to “think big.” Beyond the individual strategy, you’re aware of industry trends. Seeing the broader purpose of your work and sharing that vision with your team will assure your success at our organization.

Position Purpose

To provide strategic and enthusiastic leadership for the Environmental, Health, and Safety for the Chester Mill in support of a safe, secure, and profitable operation.

The EHS Manager reports to the Chester Mill Manager and sits on the mill leadership team. You will be a strategic leader that builds the “new normal”, creates a new vision for the future, and works collaboratively with the Sector and Global EHS leaders. You will have four (4) direct reports that includes both hourly and salaried team members. • Member of the Chester Mill site leadership team holding responsibilities to support and deliver site initiatives that may not be directly related to this role
