Your role in helping us shape the future:

You will be a key member of a fast-growing organization that will support our wide range of categories through your expertise in writing and editing.


As an Editor, your primary day-to-day responsibilities will include a mix of researching, writing and editing about various topics. You’ll be responsible for writing content using SEO best practices; editing and fact-checking content for flow, consistency, tone, grammar, spelling, AP style and accuracy; and collaborating with others across the organization to support production, audience development and other efforts. The ability to handle multiple short-term and longer-term assignments, while meeting tight deadlines, is key.


You Should Definitely Have:


  • Proficient in AP Style
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multitask
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines
  • 1-3 years of professional writing and/or editing experience for a digital publication, magazine, or similar entity.
  • College degree
  • Strong research, editing, writing and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with SEO and content management systems are a major plus
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Capability to learn new subjects quickly

  • In New York City, the anticipated base salary for this position is $55,000 - $90,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, interview performance, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
