Job Description

Imagine a future where you get to work with leaders and stakeholders across the business to deliver and track the global and regional EDI agenda

Join us in this role where you’ll lead the development and execution of tactical plans related to the broader Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) strategic plan for the Americas region, while also aligning with global EDI goals and objectives and collaborating with the Early Careers Program Manager to develop partnerships with external organizations to build pipelines for underrepresented talent in the green energy industry.

Welcome to Global Equity, Diversity & Inclusion
You’ll be part of a growing global team that is collaborative and supportive. As a remote team with members across time zones, we prioritize communication and flexibility to ensure we stay connected. As a team that champions psychological safety and inclusion, we work daily to create a culture that fosters these values within our team and throughout the business. As part of this role, you’ll work closely with executives and other leaders to identify and manage diverse talent in their field, building a strong and inclusive talent pipeline, and provide guidance and support to leaders in developing and implementing strategies that promote under-represented talent with access to all levels within the business. As a team, we partner with Global Talent and P&D colleagues to embed EDI into the wider P&D agenda.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • Conducting regular meetings with leaders to share insights into talent and develop plans that promote EDI in the workplace
  • Supporting Ørsted IN Americas, our regional employee resource groups, by providing leaders with strategic support, attending monthly leads meeting, managing requests, and overseeing the budget
  • Developing and implementing initiatives that inspire and equip employees at all levels to embrace and champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in their work.
  • Managing the recently launched Race and Ethnicity ambition within the Americas region, incl. partnering with the P&D team to ensure we’re designing for equity within our talent processes
  • Educating employees on the concept of intersectionality and its importance in understanding diversity and inclusion
  • Encouraging employees to incorporate an intersectional lens into their work and decision-making processes and providing training and resources to support them in doing so

To succeed in the role, you:

  • Have excellent relationship management skills at all levels across the business, in person and across borders
  • Have a deep understanding of racial equity, social justice, or environmental justice
  • Are a strategic thinker with the ability to implement and execute goals
  • Have a global mindset, as well as strong virtual and collaborative working skills
  • Have the ability to innovate, plan, deliver, and track impact, both personally and through others
