Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Ecommerce Media Specialist will be responsible for providing advertising and marketing strategies for the e-commerce team. The ideal candidate will work closely with the ecommerce manager to establish goals and develop strategies to provide graphic design for existing and new marketing campaigns and increase brand reach and recognition. Responsibilities include but are not limited to advertising, social media management, email marketing, loyalty programs, marketing campaign creation, and branding. This role's daily tasks include but are not limited to ecommerce marketing, graphic design, holiday campaigns and promotions, and vendor relationships and onboarding.


JOB TYPE:

Onsite, 8-5, M-F, 3 Month contract


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Architect user experience and manage the workflow of all platforms (web, email, social)
  • Work directly with ecommerce manager to assist in driving sales growth
  • Support existing and create new marketing and advertising campaigns for ecommerce platform stockupexpress.com
  • Improve and grow stockupexpress.com branding
  • Recommend and execute compelling web promotions/offerings and marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition and engagement
  • Grow social media following and provide relevant reporting
  • Identify business needs and recommend new marketing opportunities
  • Generate and implement new sales/marketing initiatives to increase ecommerce sales and profitability
  • Onboard new vendors and create programs to promote and drive product sales



KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Expertise of emerging ecommerce marketing tools and technologies
  • Experience in building Email flows and campaigns (Klaviyo)
  • Experience leveraging Social Media and Shopify reporting tools
  • Proven experience creating partnerships with vendors
  • Proven track record in driving sales and new technology
  • 4 years of experience with Shopify ecommerce platform and reporting
  • Experience with B2C and/or B2B ecommerce marketing
  • 4-year college degree, preferably in digital marketing or related field
  • Experience with Facebook and Instagram advertising
  • Experience working with other department teams to engage their expertise
  • Portfolio of previous branding work
  • Excellent graphic and digital design skills
