(CEC) in Bridgeport as an Ecologist in the Ecological Group. We have a great, high energy, multidisciplined office that is conveniently located just off of interstate 79 and within walking distance of multiple restaurants. In addition, we offer a flexible hybrid work schedule of 2 days a week work from home or 1 day off every other week. As an Ecologist for Civil & Environmental Consultants, you'll work with project teams to navigate today's complex environmental regulatory landscape, helping our commercial, institutional, and energy clients to achieve and maintain compliance with regulatory criteria. You'll assist in wetland and stream delineation projects, prepare delineation reports, and assist with preparing permit applications. The majority of your time will be spent in the field, with office work as required. Qualifications B.S. in a natural sciences field (e.g., Biology, Environmental Sciences, Ecology); 1-4 years' experience in performing and leading wetland and stream delineations and evaluations; Strong written and verbal communication skills; 40-Hour Wetland delineation training.
