Corblu Ecology Group, LLC is seeking to hire a qualified B.S. or M.S. graduate with strong
capabilities in wetland and terrestrial ecology with previous private consulting experience
as described below. Position is available in Corblu’s Woodstock, Georgia office. This
position is a full-time, permanent, entry to mid-level opportunity based on past work
experience.
Typical job duties will focus on field delineation of streams and wetlands, floral and faunal
surveys, and supporting duties to include aquatic sampling for fish and benthic
macroinvertebrates, field surveys for protected species (aquatic and terrestrial), water
quality sampling, habitat mapping, and proposal and report preparation. Demonstrated
experience should include preparing Section 401/404 permit applications and
compensatory mitigation analysis. Occasional travel is expected, and candidates should
be accustomed to working outdoors under a variety of field conditions.
Qualified applicants will have previous private environmental consulting experience and
possess strong skills in the following areas: 1) verbal and written communications; 2)
technical writing; 3) native floral identification; 4) design and execution of field sampling
protocols; and 5) experience and familiarity with managing collected data in GIS database
