What to Expect

Tesla is in search of a Non CDL Certified Driver to work on one of the most progressive services for our world-renowned innovative company. We are seeking professional customer service experience and excellent communication skills. If you are interested in contributing to a fantastic customer experience, we want you to join our team. We are looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive attitude! We seek individuals who value customer satisfaction. The Driver is a critical contributor in the Tesla experience as you will be the face of our distribution center.

What You’ll Do
  • Minor Van service and maintenance
  • Deliver automotive products from our Distribution Center to Service Centers and Body Shops.
  • Miscellaneous jobs as required
  • Support in the warehouse as a material handler when not out on delivery.
  • Vehicle cleaning (wash and minor detailing)
  • Building report | relationships with the field
  • Understanding the Tesla mission and being able to relay the message
What You’ll Bring
  • Current DOT Physical Examination (medical card).
  • Ability to effectively use maps and directions for efficient routing.
  • Knowledge of local major and minor roadways.
  • Accurately maintain daily driver logbook, pre-check and post-check of Van.
  • Able to work OT as required, multiple shifts, and work within 200-mile radius of the Lockport RDC.
  • Knowledge and adherence to federal motor carrier safety regulations / DOT guidelines.
  • Ability to maintain a clean driving record with high safety awareness on the roadways.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy boxes | Glass (up to 60 pounds) and manually pallet jack heavy material on/off trucks.
  • Great work ethic & team player – levelheaded, detail-oriented, safety contentious, courteous, flexible, punctual, and professional and customer focused.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Valid driver’s license with DOT Non-CDL Certification and Medical Card. Clean driving record and insurable
  • Previous DOT Commercial Vehicle experience preferred.
