Driver Mobile Van Registration

Job Duties
Mobile Van Driver
Drives to and from community and corporate sites. Maintains a CDL and passes the DOT physicals. Responsible for pre and post trip Van inspections. Works with appropriate vendors to ensure vehicle maintenance is satisfactory and trouble shoots/problem solves issues as needed.
Patient Registration
Obtains and processes complete and accurate information to identify the patient and the patient’s breast health history. This includes completion of Mammography Recording System (MRS) forms and all necessary signatures in order to treat, share results with Primary Care providers and bill third party payers.
Customer Service
Maintains good public relations skills to ensure a positive impression of the organization. Greets and assists patients, interacts with Mammography Techs, Physician’s office staff, and other community and corporate contact representatives while maintaining appropriate (need to know) patient confidentiality.
Clerical Support
Supports Program Manager by sending out reminder post cards, completing reminder phone calls and attending health fairs as needed.
Cross-training
Cross-trains to other Registration areas (i.e. Breast Centers) to ensure efficient knowledgeable coverage as needed.
Knowledge Maintenance
Takes responsibility for maintaining knowledge level after training by keeping current on procedures pertaining to each area. Responsible for reading posted notices, memos, and emails.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Qualifications
MINIMUM

Education, Credentials, Licenses:
High School Graduate or Equivalent
MOBILE VAN DRIVERS must meet requirements below:
Must have a Legal valid driver’s license
Must have a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Must pass a criminal background check
Must pass MVR check
Must maintain current auto insurance policy at or above state minimum requirements
Must register on Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
NOTE: The following occurrences would result in exclusion from driving Healthcare System vehicles: one or more of any major violations in the preceding 36 months, including but not limited to any type of DUI, refusing substance test, reckless driving, manslaughter, hit and run, eluding a police officer, any felony, drag racing, license suspension, and driving with a suspended license.
