Job Overview: Our logistics client located in the Marshalltown, IA area?is?seeking to add?a?new Driver Manager to their team.?The Driver Manager?is responsible for?meeting company performance goals and safety objectives.?To be successful in the role of Driver Manager, you?must have?great communication skills, host new hire and ongoing training and comply with all safety regulations.?
This is a?direct hire position.

What you will be doing as a?Driver Manager… ?
Promote positive relationships with drivers
Manage driver’s schedules including call weekends, after hours, PTO, Home Time, Appts, etc.
Utilize the TMS system to build accurate orders
Improve driver retention and ensure driver satisfaction
Onboard and train new drivers on technologies and processes
Develop training materials for drivers
Attend and participate in required meetings
Skills you ideally bring to the table as a?Driver Manager…. ?
Bachelor's degree preferred
Logistics Experience Required
Dispatch experience, at least 1 year
Excellent organizational skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Proficient in MS Office
