Truck Driver

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, maintains a regular maintenance schedule

and upkeep on company truck and van. Pickup food for the pantry and scheduled items for the

store. Assists with other tasks as schedule allows.

Qualification

Must have valid drivers license (Arizona) to drive a one (1) ton truck.

Have no traffic violations in the past six (6) months.

No Substance abuse violations over the last 12 months.

Must be able to lift 50 to 100 lbs (Pounds).

Have current valid personal auto insurance policy.

Be able to work 20 to 35 hours per week or as needed.

Must pass background check and drug screen.

Job Duties

Drive a box truck and van to pick up and deliver food, furniture, and other items as directed.

Keep truck and van clean at all times.

Keep fuel at an operational level.

Report any truck or van issues to Program Manager.

Works with Store Manager to coordinate furniture pickups and deliveries as scheduled by the

office.

Pick up aluminum cans, clean bins and recycle the cans.

Assists pantry in unloading and shelving large food donations.

Transport holiday bins to and from storage lockers and maintains locker contents for most

efficient spacing and retrieval.

Assist customers loading and unloading furniture.

Make determinations regarding acceptable items during donation pickups.

Provide training and guidance to truck assistant.

Perform other duties as assigned by Program Manager.

Maintain a positive relationship with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
