Job Description

SUMMARY:
Join the team at Savannah Distributing as a Non-CDL Delivery Driver and play a critical role in ensuring our products are safely and efficiently delivered to customers. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and representing our company in a professional manner. No CDL is required for this position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:*

  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle
  • Collect payments from customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Complete all required logs and reports
  • Pick up returns and necessary documentation for processing
  • Safely transport products to each designated stop on assigned route
  • Adhere to company safety standards at all times

QUALIFICATIONS:*

  • Ability to pass a driver physical exam and maintain a clean driving record
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Pass pre-employment and random drug screens
  • Excellent communication skills for creating positive customer experiences
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to drive a 26ft box truck
  • Basic understanding of general safety principles
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to follow all state and federal laws while driving
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Dependable with excellent time management skills

WORKING CONDITIONS:*

  • Frequently required to reach, bend, stoop, and lift 15-30 pounds, and occasionally lift 60+ pounds
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
