We know that CDL Driver/Materials Handler and For-Hire Driver/Materials Handler are an elite group of professionals. At FBM we believe that safe, qualified drivers are an important part to our overall team operation. This position is based out of our Kokomo, location.

Essential Functions/Qualifications
  • A safe driving record.
  • Other duties may be assigned
  • Dependable and great work ethic
  • The ability to unload, protect, move, and stage materials as specified by customer directive.
  • Possess valid Class A or B CDL, or For Hire License.
  • Minimum 1-year consistent commercial driving experience.
  • Support our company values in the stated areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity, and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers.
  • Able to lift 75+ lbs
  • After receipt of conditional offer of employment, must be able to pass drug screen/physical/background check.
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of building materials
  • The ability to inspect trucks daily and verify that they are loaded and secured properly when leaving the facility in accordance with Company and D.O.T. standards.
  • Strong Customer Service
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of operation of boom trucks, piggy-back trucks, box trucks, and fork trucks.
