Driver Helper/Warehouse Jobs

Comeaux Furniture, a well-established mid-size family owned local furniture retailer, is in search of an experienced Driver Helper/Warehouse
Summary
The Driver Helper/Warehouse is primarily responsible loading and unloading trucks.
This involves the moving and pulling of merchandise. This is a fulltime position.
The work week is Tuesday - Saturday from 7:30am - 4:30pm with 30 minutes
for lunch.
This job description in no way implies that the duties listed here are the only
ones the employee can be required to perform. The employee is expected to
perform other tasks, duties and training as dictated by their supervisors.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Loading and unloading trucks.
Pull merchandise for will calls.
Pull merchandise for delivery
Inspect and prep merchandise for will calls and delivery.
Responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and clutter free.
Assist with Physical Inventory.
Qualifications
The Driver Helper/Warehouse should possess communication skills, and work well with others.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to lift 125 lbs without assistance. Must be able to walk up and down
|stairs without impediment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work conditions encountered in this position require working in a warehouse
environment
