Job Description
Summary: Duties of this position include the safe, efficient, and courteous delivery of supplies, materials and parts to our established and respected customers, or suppliers and assist with various warehouse functions. The successful candidate will be an effective communicator with a service and team orientation, have a friendly disposition and excellent work ethic, have a history of safe driving, have the physical ability to frequently lift up to 75 lbs, and have experience in or familiarity with warehouse and delivery operations. A valid Class C drivers license is required. Must qualify for a DOT health card, and meet all DOT requirements.

  • Good communication skills
  • Must be comfortable driving flatbed trucks and trailers in traffic, as well as backing up to loading docks.
  • Must be able to obtain a forklift license and be comfortable picking and carrying uneven loads and awkward pieces.
  • Comfortable with radios, cell phones and computers (Microsoft Outlook is used for dispatching)
  • Can demonstrate safe use of overhead crane, jib crane, chain, sling and magnet rigging and lifting of remnants, half plates and full plates of different thicknesses
