Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated .NET Developer to join our client's team on a contract to hire basis. In this role, you will be responsible for updating legacy code bases and building out back-end functionality using the .NET framework. You will work closely with our development team to understand project requirements, identify areas for improvement, and implement robust and scalable solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced .NET Developer looking to contribute to exciting projects and potentially transition into a permanent position within our organization.



Responsibilities:

  • Ensure code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and adherence to coding standards.
  • Document technical specifications, project progress, and changes for future reference.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, bugs, and other technical issues within the code base.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy back-end functionality using the .NET framework.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end components.
  • Update and enhance existing legacy code bases written in .NET.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and maintainability.



Qualifications:

  • Experience with source control systems, such as Git.
  • Proven experience as a .NET Developer, with a strong understanding of the .NET framework and C# programming language.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience updating and maintaining legacy code bases.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with database technologies, such as SQL Server.
  • Proficiency in web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.



Contract Details:

  • Working hours: EST
  • Location: Fully remote
  • Duration: 3-month contract, with the potential for permanent employment based on performance and mutual agreement.
  • Compensation: $45 to $50 Hourly / $90,000 to $100,000 Salary
