Job Description

This role will serve as a key member on DO3 RMC's team to drive donor relations, implement annual giving programs, and manage the community's internal + external special events.


Your Mission In This Role

•MANAGE RMC DONOR ENGAGEMENT [Major Gifts & Sustainable Giving] – Assist in the cultivation and development of major donors and sustainable giving strategies. Partner closely with executive leadership while maintaining oversight of key donors. Follow recommended best practices for multi-year pledges and planned giving opportunities.

•CRAFT COMPELLING GIVING OPPORTUNITIES [Gift Strategy & Donor Engagement] –Generate donor interest necessary to sustain valued program offerings tied to DO3’s core mission. Identify key opportunities for planned gifts. Develop giving opportunities to match donor interest and motivation to fund possible grants and new programmatic offerings. Spearhead identification of new donors and design effective cultivation strategies across all giving levels.

•EXPAND & SECURE RMC RESOURCES [Fund Development] – Help drive and deliver revenue to help secure DO3’s annual mission. Partner cross-functionally with other DO3 communities to proactively engage donors and to identify gratitude opportunities to build an ongoing culture of philanthropy and stewardship. Brainstorm and ideate on the expansion of new donor strategies.

•LEAD RMC SPECIAL EVENTS [RMC Internal & External Event Management] - Serve as the RMC's special events lead for the annual Dream Gala and Golf Tournament. Work closely with Community Engagement Director and NationalDirector of Donor Engagement to manage vendors, organize logistics, and secure sponsors for any internal special event. Identify local corporations hosting external events and establish plan for how to partner with DO3. Serve as point of contact for any current external community event and manage retention.

Responsibilities

•Manage donor relations and special events in RMC to support the strategic vision of the organization.

•Follow organizational stewardship plan and implement across the community working closely with the National Director of Donor Engagement.

•Manage all new donors and stewardship efforts within RMC.

•Plan and execute all chapter special events including the annual Dream Gala, Mile High Business of the Year Campaign, Golf Tournament and serve as point of contact for all RMC external events.

•Work closely with the National Director of Donor Engagement and RMC Program Coordinators to enhance chapter and programmatic needs.

•Assist RMC Program Coordinators in managing quality control of all chapter events.

•Serve as an instrumental part of our team and assist as needed to carry out the mission of the organization.
