We are looking for a Program Coordinator to join our Dolby Institute team, our initiative to help creatives advance the art of storytelling. The mission of the Dolby Institute is to inspire and educate the next generation of content creators to bring their dreams to life, in Dolby. Our core values are to enable, inspire, educate, and amplify human stories from new voices that need to be heard.


Responsibilities


  • Support Dolby Institute initiatives including our weekly podcast, pro training, and emerging education, virtual and in-person events, fellowship grants and partnerships.
  • Support the Dolby Institute Director on research projects related to program initiatives.
  • Support Dolby Atmos Music Programs on production tasks for in-person and virtual accelerators and educational activations and associated digital content.
  • Coordinate digital content for the Institute, supporting the expansion of the Dolby Institute’s digital presence as a destination for inspirational, educational, and training resources, by building and publishing net new pages, and working with the digital team to roll out new features and functions.
  • Support the Dolby Institute Education Manager on outreach programs to universities and film schools, with tasks to include curriculum distribution and production tasks with demonstration videos and materials.
  • Responsibilities include scheduling podcast recording sessions across all categories including film/tv, music, and gaming (including direct interface with important external business partners and internal stakeholders), managing digital assets, reviewing edits, writing program descriptions, and tracking all deliverables.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams including Design, Copy, Social, PR, and Digital to develop, schedule and release Institute content across Dolby’s global channels, and with our external partners and vendors, supporting ongoing collaborations and project tracking.
  • Coordinate monthly release of newsletter and other Dolby Institute external communications.
  • Support the Sr. Manager of Programs and Content and Dolby Institute Director with vendor, partner, and sponsorship contracting and onboarding, and expense reporting.


Qualifications


  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Poise and comfort level with speaking to all levels of staff and management.
  • Photoshop, Excel, Word, Outlook, Smartsheet, Keynote, and PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Passionate, positive, and solution-oriented attitude.
  • Interest in consumer technology and/or the entertainment industry including movies, music, and games.
  • Experience with in-person event support (receptions, video shoots, conferences)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to track projects and deliverables in Miro and Airtable. Familiarity with content and communication management systems. (training available)


The Southern California Area base salary range for this full-time position is $74-107K plus bonus, equity, and benefits, and can vary if outside of this location. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
