Dog Walker - Logan Square

Are you an animal lover looking for outdoor work during the day? We are looking for a pet lover interested in dog walking with availability M-F from 11am to 3pm in the Logan Square Area. The route is spaced very close together, so travel from one dog to the next is very minimal. Visits last for 30 minutes with each walker doing 6-8 visits per day. It's a fun job that allows you to play with a bunch of adorable dogs and explore our wonderful city!

Requirements

• Must be an animal nut! We love people who are crazy for animals. The type who stop every stranger on the street just to say hi to their dogs.
• Must have a bike or car to get around. The dogs are spaced close together, but we don’t want you wasting time walking from one dog to the next.
• Must be a good communicator. Clients want to know you love and care for their dog, and the best way to show that is with good communication.
• Must be available Mon-Fri 11am to 3pm.

About Us

Urban Tailz has been providing dog walks to most neighborhoods in Chicago since 2000. We think our walkers are the face of the company so we believe happy walkers make for a great company! We give raises after 6 months of working for UT (sooner if we think you’re doing an extraordinary job) and there is room for growth within the company. All of our managers were once regular dog walkers themselves!

We run background checks on all of our new walkers. Our walkers start at 45% of what we charge our clients with room for growth.

Our walkers make $15-$18 per hour which translates to around $60-$75 per day, but we also like to cater to our walkers so we can make you super busy if you'd like to make more money, or we can give you a smaller route with just a few dogs a day if you're just looking to break up your day by playing with some dogs.
