Hourly Dog Park Attendant Job Opening\ The City of Iowa City Recreation division is accepting applications for the following hourly position:\ Dog Park Attendant\ 15.00 per hour\ Definition of Work: Meets and greets users of Thornberry and Ritas Ranch Off-Leash dog\ parks. Monitors compliance of dog park regulations including monitoring of tags. Educates dog\ owners with regard to dog park rules and responsible supervision of their dogs. Mediates and\ resolves issues between dogs. Mediates and resolves issues between owners. Conducts self in\ a manner which promotes and supports diversity and inclusivity in the workplace and\ community. Performs other duties as assigned.\ Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess knowledge and\ experience that demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively.
